Sedona Sight

A face emerges from darkness, half-hidden, half-revealed—but what captures attention immediately are the oversized sunglasses that dominate her features. Within each lens burns the fiery orange and crimson glow of Sedona's legendary red rocks, as if she has absorbed the desert landscape so completely that it now colors everything she sees. Silhouetted figures walk through the canyons of her vision, tiny pilgrims traversing the sacred geology she carries behind her eyes.

Her full lips, painted in the same burnt orange tones as the rock formations, seem to hold secrets whispered by the land itself. The face is rendered in shadowy blues and blacks, streaked with golden light and textured brushstrokes that drip downward like rain—or tears—or the passage of time.
